The museum is full of fascinating information about the town’s history.

But if you want to find out even more, you should go to the Town Hall on the High Street and spend some time looking at and learning about the 1900 Thornbury Quilt, a snapshot of Thornbury life as the century turned.  There’s a helpful audio-visual display, provided by the museum, which explains all about it.
