Facilities
We’re just a small museum and don’t have room for a café but there are plenty of pubs and cafés and restaurants nearby. Our friendly volunteers can advise you.
There are no public toilets in the museum itself but toilets in the Armstrong Hall complex next to the museum are available for public use, as part of the Thornbury Community Toilet Scheme. There are also some public toilets in Rock Street, next to the Aldi supermarket, a two minute walk away.
There is a RADAR toilet behind the museum.
There is a disabled car parking space immediately outside the museum.
Our bookshop has a wide selection of local history books for sale, together with very reasonably priced small items for children.
