Lots of lovely things to browse in the museum for the next ten days…
… we’re hosting Clare Stephens, Rosemary Millar and Lorraine Durant, three very talented local artists. (The image above is one of Lorraine’s coastal landscapes.)
Here’s your chance to find out more about pottery, jewellery-making and painting landscapes. You can chat to the artists while you’re examining their work.
You may even find you can spot ideas for birthday, anniversary, wedding or Christmas presents – or even something for yourself! But there’s no obligation to buy. The artists are happy to meet and chat to people – the more the merrier!

And we’re off! …
For ten days we’re hosting three great local artists – and the museum’s wonderful front-of-house volunteers are pulling out all the stops to keep the museum open from 10am to 4pm daily from Friday 28 April to Sunday 7 May.
It’s all free – free to see the artists and their work, free to see everything in the museum!

The museum has just published a new 28-page booklet, a Guide to the Thornbury Heritage Trail. You can see an extract from the Trail Guide in the photo above.
Pop into the museum and pick one up for just £2 – a bargain, for all the research that has gone into it – and then you can while away a sunny hour with friends or family as you explore each stage of the Heritage Trail.
