We had an official re-opening today!

We were delighted to welcome Thornbury Mayor James Murray to the Museum today for our official re-opening after winter closure.

He and others had the chance to see our first exhibition for 2024 – ‘Handel Cossham: Thornbury’s Man of Substance’.

The exhibition commemorates the 200th Anniversary of Handel Cossham’s birth in a little cottage on Thornbury High Street and tells the story of his life and many achievements.
