Check out the Thornbury Wayfinders February Walking Festival

The Museum is enthusiastically supporting the Thornbury Wayfinders February Walking Festival, which is taking place over the weekend of 20th to 22nd February 2026.

Two of the nine walks are being led by Museum volunteers.

One easy town centre walk is Thornbury Quilt-related and will identify locations of businesses which operated in Thornbury in 1900,  portrayed in a lively fashion on the quilt.

The other walk is related to the route and history of Thornbury Railway and will be led by Museum volunteer Meg Wise.  It would be difficult to know more about the railway than Meg does!
