Our very best wishes for the winter holiday season!

Thank you for all your support during 2023.

Our last day of opening before our winter closure is Tuesday 19th December 2024.

During our winter closure period from Wednesday 20 December 2023 to Monday 5 February 2024, we’ll be stocktaking, carrying out our annual deep clean,  working on the collection, and preparing for our new exhibition, celebrating the 200^th anniversary of the birth of a local boy made good.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum on Tuesday 6 February 2024, when you can come and see our brand new Exhibition – the story of Handel Cossham: Thornbury’s Man of Substance.

Meanwhile, very best wishes, from all the volunteers at the museum, for a happy and peaceful festive season.
