Some advance warning that, from June, the museum shop will be stocking two pamphlets published by the Bristol Radical History Group – both with local relevance.
One is ‘Poaching in the South West: The Berkeley Case’ and it examines the perennial struggle between those who lay claim to land and all that’s on it and those who see wildlife, wherever it’s found, as literally ‘fair game’.
The other will be of interest to all who enjoyed our recent exhibition about the Quakers. It’s called ‘The Peculiar History of the Sect Known as the Quakers’.
You can read more about these very affordable (only £2.50 each!) pamphlets here.
