Hear the train a comin’

Remember when the railway came to Thornbury?  Or maybe you find it hard to imagine that Thornbury ever had a railway station, a station master on his bicycle, and  a regular train service?

We’re putting on a talk on Friday 13th February that will tell you all about Thornbury and the Railway.  Using maps and photos, Meg Wise will help you track the route of the railway line and establish exactly where the station was.  And she’ll tell you a bit about the people that ran the railway service too.
