We’re very excited. Today, three women artists have been installing their work in our museum, ready for the opening tomorrow of the Severn Vale Art Trail. Their work is beautiful – and beautifully crafted.
Mary Drown, Rosemary Millar and Mitra McQuilton will be happy to tell you about the techniques and the materials they use, if you’re interested. Or you can just browse – and marvel at the skill which has gone into their silk paintings, acrylics, watercolours, jewellery and threadwork paintings.
Of course, if you want to buy something, that will be possible too – but it’s fine just to come and look!
They will be showing their work for eleven days, until 10 May, and our volunteers are working extra hours to make sure the museum stays open every day (Sunday included) and longer (10am to 4pm).
Come and have a relaxing browse and decide which are your favourite pieces!
