Following our 'Rolling, Rolling, Rolling....' exhibition, we are selling Reg King's beautiful book 'Rolling Pins'.  Reg was the guest curator responsible for our exhibition.  A local man - an engineer from Alveston - he has built up a fantastic collection of over 400 beautiful and historic rolling pins.  His book, on sale in the shop for £15, is a lively, entertaining and beautifully-illustrated read.  There's so much more to rolling pins than you could possibly imagine!

Hot off the press is a publication that's sure to be popular with the many local residents who have worked in the aerospace industry at Filton.  'British Workmanship at its Best: the Bristol Aeroplane Co. Ltd' is the result of an oral history project carried out by Filton Community History Group.  This very substantial book contains the stories of 69 men and women who worked for the Bristol Aeroplane Company and its predecessor and successor companies.  For £15, you're assured of a fascinating read, as you encounter the stories behind the design and manufacturing of Concorde and other world-beating planes.
